I was getting ready to brace for a whole week of nothing but cereal and milk, fruit, and maybe some eggs with something to go with them, if I'm lucky. I was down to less than $350 after buying the airlines ticket to San Diego in a few weeks (but I would have boosted it to almost $600 with pay from a couple of commissions as well as this month's payment - if I DON'T touch any of it - not even when I have clothes to wash and stuff. (I might even have to buy ANOTHER bottle of laundry detergent, too!)

And then I discovered that my credit limit has soared another $500!

Now I WILL have ENOUGH to take with me to San Diego AND an extra $70 to spend on myself this month! But I also know about the risks of a growing credit limit; I will ask the bank to keep it at $2000 limit for time being (not quite there yet right now.) BTW, I used to have a credit card at $5500 limit years ago, so yes, I know.

Anyway, I am trying to finish as much as I can before this month ends tomorrow. But at least I'm relieved that time during the year 2009 is slowing down considerately; time had seemed to go by like a lightning in the past. (Just can't remember what it was like at June 1st, BTW!)
