Finally, it's time for BOTCON!

When we arrived, there was a LONG line consisting mostly of teen and adult Transformers fans and their own children (running about in their own Transformers garb, little girls in pink Arcee shirts included) snaking around the whole place at the top floor of Duke Energy Center. It went pretty fast, needless to say.

The immense dealer room was quite crowded with so many people coming and going. And there was so much to see and do, too. There were all kinds of toys, both new and old (including yet to be released
Transformers Animated toys) as well as a few non-Transformers (including Star Wars and Dragonball Z) tossed into the mix, statuettes, busts, clothing items (hats included), graphic novels, comic books (both new and old), books, Japanese imports, and autographed sketches from professional IDW and fan artists alike (I met

and

at their tables, BTW.

) Even Simon Furman HIMSELF, the famous writer for Transformers comics was there, so

and I got to shake hands with him and compliment on his work, too. There was also the art contest featuring repainted or handmade models (including a very impressive metal model of the movie Frenzy with all four eyes glaring brilliant blue lights. In fact, it can even be transformed into an actual radio!), a few paintings and drawings, and even a cuddly Grimlock thrown in, too.
I was on my own at Botcon because Greg and John had gone off to visit the local museum as they had planned that day. So I just wandered around, meeting a few friends I knew from the forums, and buying a few toys, prints, and stuff, including a handsome new Revoltech Starscream, Robot Heroes Bumblebee/Soundwave, and light-up Energon cubes (warning: they break easily!

) as well as the cutest TF-related clothes like a Bumblebee T-shirt, a guitar-playing Optimus Prime T-shirt, and the most beautiful pair of black pajamas pants with Autobot and Decepticon symbols patterned all over it!

(John bought me a Japanese Bumblebee as a belated birthday present, BTW. But I still have my heart on a Slumberbee, though.^.^)
There were a few costumed fans posing as Transformers like Soundwave, Blaster, Wheeljacks (yep, there's TWO of them!), Ratchet, Perceptor, and very ferocious-looking, blue-faced Dinobot from
Beast Wars. Soundwave and Blaster are of course, my two friends,

, who's one of the world's BEST designer of TF costumes IMHO and

, who both posed with fans for the camera. Then I followed my friends when they walked away from the dealer room to take off their heavy, cumbersome costumes. Then I greeted and hugged my friends before I went my own way. I was rather lonely, since most acquaintances I knew waved to me and even hugged me, but then went on their ways, like they had not seen me at all.

But at least my two male friends returned from the museum to join me that afternoon, though.
For lunch, there was a cart serving the cutest little hotdogs loaded with Cincinnati's famous chili and lots of shredded cheese (they're called "coneys", for some reason, heh) and I enjoyed a couple for lunch. (John himself thought the stuff is pretty vile, however.

)
Now Greg and I went to stand the line to get autographs from the voice actors for the latest Transformers cartoon. One of them happened to be Tara Strong, who
used to provide voice for Bubbles, one of The Powerpuff Girls and all three of us (John, me, and of course,

) are loyal, longtime PPG fans (it was such a sweet coincidence that we got to stay with Greg in his beautiful hometown of Cincinnati, too!) So Greg took along his PPG DVD to have the pretty, blonde voice-actress sign it. (I think she deliberately let her cleavage hang out, heh.

) Another coincidence happened, too...one of the Archie digest books that I recently bought at the local bookstore is carrying the spoof of Powerpuff Girls (Betty, Veronica, and Nancy were portrayed as The Girls in that story. Personally, I would have preferred Cheryl Blossom to be Blossom, of course.

) So I brought along the Archie book to have Tara Strong sign it, too (she signed herself as "Bubbles", naturally.

) She asked me which Powerpuff Girl is my favorite (Greg was interpreting for me, I think) and I said, "Buttercup!" The blonde cutie rolled her hand into a fist and shook it with a "tough-as-nails" expression on her face to agree with me, heh.^_^
While we were waiting in the line, a few more costumed TF characters showed up, messing around with fans in the room leading in the dealer room. A slender-looking Jazz finally showed up along with Elita One, who seemed to be carrying some oddly-colored liquid in an "Energon" cube (uh, well, it's bright yellow...

) as well as a whole bunch of pretty chicks creatively dressed in feminine skirted costumes with colors echoing those of their favorite Transformers characters (there's the Megatron girl, Starscream girl, Ratchet girl, etc. as well as a couple of cute chicks wearing colors of Sunstreaker and Sideswipe, Sunstreaker's "ears" included.

) And ooh, a very sexy cheesecake version of Barricade also appeared, wearing a skimpy bikini costume reminiscent of the police car monster's armor along with red-hot shades and LONG, flowing white hair that reached her legs, too! Then the world-famous BARONESS came along with her friend, Krystal to pose sexily and to kid around with the costumed Transformers and their fans, too!

(Of course, they're MY friends who had posed as Shockwave and Blaster earlier in the day!) Here the characters all pose for the cameras like they're at Disneyland, heh.

Now I ran to Baroness and Krystal to greet them once again. Guess who's with the girls?

!!!

She had came all the way from Hungary to visit this year's Botcon, of course! I was VERY glad I haven't missed her, so we hugged each other and I then produced my art pads and a whole bunch of drawings to show off my NEW Transformers art to my friends, who kept laughing at them.

Then guess who just got off the escalator?
STARSCREAM!!!!!
I was so DELIGHTED to see him again from last year's Botcon that I actually jumped about three feet off the floor! But like last time, I was once again so shy about meeting the costumed Starscream, so both Krystal AND John beckoned and urged me to his side to have my pictures taken with him once again. Needless to say, I flirted and cuddled up to Starscream, unable to reach his cheek with my lips this time, so I kissed one of his famous Seeker tits instead.

And once again, I kissed my fingers and then pressed them to Starscream's smirking mouth - like last time, of course!
Naturally, Starscream mingled and posed with other fans and it was a pretty hilarious show to watch.

You should have seen how he reacted when he saw the yellow water in Elita One's cube, LOL!!!!!

Then my friend, Baroness posed with the handsome Seeker, flirting seductively with him by kissing him and tickling him under his chin, so I couldn't help joining right in the fun to rub up against him and try to kiss him again. (I did feel a little sad when I didn't feel his arm around me, though.

) A really crazy guy in a cap, a long blonde ponytail, and a red Optimus Prime shirt came along to hold a HYSTERICAL one-man circus with old Starscream, having his pictures taken with
really big, terrified eyes, madly wielded Baroness's gun at him with cords standing out in his neck, and made do like he was FLEEING Starscream as if the big, mean robot was about to grab him for dinner!!!

And once again, I kept flirting with Starscream, even kissing him on the tip of his wing much to the amusement of my watching friends. I love him so.

Then everyone went their way, John and Greg included, leaving me all alone once again.

I just sat there on the floor, taking out my new toys to look at them and then sadly watched my Hungarian friend walk off with her friend without even so much as a goodbye wave in my direction. But eventually, she came right back to me and fun started once again as Botcon was winding down. (Greg himself, always going off without telling us, came back carrying a big, folded paper of Animated Bumblebee that he had drawn in a "class" and he GAVE it to me!

)
I found myself the center of attention, showing off my newest TF art (several of them are pretty risque, heh) to my friends as well as a few passing strangers, who evidently looked impressed themselves.
Now Botcon was over and we all bid each other good-bye before leaving the convention center. On our way home, we kids stopped by a secondhand bookstore, where we looked at some old books and stuff. We also discovered several children's books about Powerpuff Girls as well as one on TRANSFORMERS from 1980s, of course! (Back at Greg's house, John and I scattered the books on the rug, closed our eyes, and chose a few for ourselves. That old John WON the Transformers book, of course.

) We also saw old Powerpuff Girls cartoons on Greg's TV and it was my
very first time seeing
Whoopass Girls, who looked more like killer bees at the time.

At first, Greg wanted to cook some chicken with rice for dinner and I offered to help him in the kitchen. Then suddenly, he acted like he didn't know what to do, so I asked if we could have pizza instead. So Greg ordered some over the phone and the two boys went out to get some while I was instructed to mix some ingredients with blackberries in the ice cream maker. Greg's two beautiful cats sat on the window sill, looking out at the night while I busily grinded and grinded. (I wanted to play with them, but it's also best to leave them alone now and then, heh.)
We all had pizza with sausage and olives (it was cut in squares, BTW) and it was delicious. Greg's homemade non-dairy ice cream mixed with blackberries was pretty tasty, too!=9
Okay, before I close this little story, I'd like to tell you a bit about Greg's gorgeous tabby cats, The Captain and Shanny. Like I said, John and I got to stroke and cuddle both of them as well as playing with them. Greg even has a clever device that sends a bright red laser dot darting all over the whole place, driving both cats bonkers!!! Shanny even ended up panting like a real dog, with his tongue hanging out a bit. Such sweet, adorable animals indeed.

(Sorry I took SO long; it was just NOT easy putting down something so long and memorable like that, though.)
