Explaining the poll about sex comics.

Back in college, I would draw lots and lots of dirty pictures. In fact, some of them would actually make your eyelashes turn orange and curl up.:omfg:

There are lots of great sex comics out there and I used to buy loads of them when I was in college, heh.:giggle: There's stuff like the works of Robert Crumb and Milo Manara, XXXenophile, Bode Broads, Heavy Metal magazines, Little Annie Fanny, Omaha The Cat Dancer, Little Ego, Skintight Orbit, and of course, manga/anime. Yep, I was one perverted young bitch back then.

But I do like well-written stories with amusing sense of humor, great art, well-crafted sex scenes that don't go insanely over the top, reasonable attitudes about sex, and of course, believable characters, especially the females who DON'T exist just to look good or spread legs for the creeps, of course. *Sigh* Such nostalgia of my younger days, when I used to buy loads and loads of comics from manga to reprinted oldies like Li'l Abner. Now I can't afford to buy very many in a year, though.:hmm:

I have even considered trying my hand at doing tasteful sex comics that DON'T look like something you would see on a medical slideshow as well as good sex stories that would appeal to adult readers of EITHER sex. In fact, I have done many stories and loads of doodles to illustrate them during my time in college. I have even hoped to get those stories published one day.:aww:

But today, I don't know if I'll ever do even one, especially since I have SO MANY projects to do, though. No great loss, kids.;P

Anyway, the finished painting of Grape is posted now! Go and look!:D

Srsly, here's a new poll at your right. (Just to grab your attention, of course. I'm not hurt at all, really.;P)

Thanks for your love, kids!

And good but weird news...

The original scanner is ALREADY plugged in?!!:O Maybe that's WHY the printer isn't working so well (I'll try it again and hope it works, too?)

I don't remember plugging in the scanner. Either I got the plugs mixed up or I did it in sleep.

Whatever, the scanner seems to be working okay now (no more annoying stripes, looks like. )

Naturally, I am working as much as I possibly can on fanart, your commissions, my own projects, etc. Hopefully I'll have some new material to scan soon.^^;

Anyway, here are my kisses, hugs, and cuddles for you all.:glomp:

(But I still miss that one chummy friend who mysteriously disappeared a few days ago. Where is he? Have I offended him somewhere? He's at the age where he's too good-natured to be hurt by something I said - even as a joke.:()

Not happy right now.

I haven't plugged in my original scanner yet.

I keep messing up one fanart.

I got some oil spots on a commission.

I slept almost 24 hours half the week.

I spilled some water on some of my older fanart.

I have no place to keep the little fan propped up without it falling over.

I broke the fan, too - and it's my second fan that I bought, BTW.

I failed to meet with my best friend in a chatroom TWICE this week.

I drove away a friend who seemed so chummy and open-minded with me.

I disowned my father from my life because of the things he did to me; him destroying some of my work as well as my self-esteem being worst of all.

My future is VERY uncertain right now; while I'm an excellent artist, I'm a very poor worker, however.

And right now, I am feeling a little lonely as well as half-dead from all that heat.:P

No wonder I'm not so happy right now.

WALL.E

My friend and I saw a new Pixar movie this afternoon and it's such...an INCREDIBLE movie! (With a few uncomfortable moments tossed in here and there, which is very surprising for a Disney movie.)

The beginning is extremely creepy for a family animated movie...where are all the humans?^^; The whole planet seems to be abandoned with strange structures being piled everywhere. And there is a sad-looking little robot busy collecting garbage and building those strange structures with it. (It has apparently taken the li'l guy many, many years to create those whimsical skyscraper-like buildings, BTW!) Oh, and it has a cockroach sidekick, too...yuck!:bleh: (I was actually pleased when that bug seemed to be squashed, though it came right back to life anyway. )

Everything really changed when an elegant, egg-shaped robot suddenly appeared to look for something and WALL.E fell for her. (Ugh, I don't like mushy romantic stuff, especially when a very tough female character is involved. Don't mind me, that's all.;))

It's such a beautifully crafted story with some very slick, fast-paced animation, breathtaking graphics, and some chilling messages for us clueless humans, too. Bravo!

GLAD to see Disney/Pixar finally making some REAL magic!

And BTW, I just got a Bumblebee toy from McDonald's when we stopped by for snacks before we saw the movie.:)
