Artist's Comments
Pretty difficult to capture one of the most memorable battle scenes in Transformers history. I also used a whole variety of medium to create something like that from Crayola markers to Prismacolor pencils that I haven't really used in years.
Done in ink with dip pen, markers, colored inks (I think?), watercolors, plastic crayons, Prismacolor pencils, and even a white Crayola crayon to add some more glow to the whole effect. Phew.  (I also took ages to arrange this picture in its rough stage; I actually cut it up, made copies of it, and taped pieces in place, too. Full-color illustration is indeed a long and painstaking progress, FYI. And I'm doing children's picture books, too! )Characters by Hasbro/Takara. |
